Exhibit Application Guidelines

Eligibility

The Mestizo Institute of Culture & Arts Gallery welcomes exhibit proposals from emerging and established artists from the local, national, and international scene and who engage community through their work, are from underrepresented communities, challenge perceptions of "other", and/or use art as a tool for social change. Mestizo Institute of Culture & Arts strives to create dialogue amongst communities and across borders through art. Artists who are civically engaged or whose voices have been silenced in the past are especially encouraged to apply. Work in any medium is accepted. National and international artists are responsible for all shipping costs unless an agreement is made prior with Mestizo Institute of Culture & Arts. All covered shipping fees will be contingent upon funding.

Notification of acceptance will be made by the end of February each year.
